….Outside of the museum, the city of Beacon is quaint and tranquil, with lots of cute shops and restaurants. During our visit, we stopped by a few vintage shops and record stores and had lunch at a hidden gem – a Palestinian-Arabic-Middle Eastern restaurant called Ziatun. Owned by Kamel Jamal, the child of Palestinian immigrants, Ziatun surely delivered on flavor, customer service, and overall experience. Their baba ghanouj and rose water lemonade were the highlights of our meal. Following a delicious meal, we had to grab some ice cream for the road at The Beacon Creamery before heading back to NYC. ..Fuera del museo, la ciudad de Beacon es pintoresca y tranquila, con muchas lindas tiendas y restaurantes. Durante nuestra visita, nos detuvimos en algunas tiendas vintage, tiendas de discos y almorzamos en una joya escondida: un restaurante palestino-árabe llamado Ziatun. Propiedad de Kamel Jamal, hijo de inmigrantes palestinos, Ziatun estuvo riquísimo, el servicio al cliente y experiencia en general buenísima. Su baba ghanouj y limonada de agua de rosas fueron lo más destacado de nuestra comida. Después de un delicioso almuerzo, tuvimos que ir tomar un helado para el camino en The Beacon Creamery antes de regresar a Nueva York. ….
